A Designer’s Guerrilla Guide<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Growing up in a family with irregular income, far from causing stress, somehow equips those who manage to stay afloat with new skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grew up in a family whose father was involved in trade and manufacturing, a family that could be described as sometimes middle-income and sometimes low-income. In such a situation, your life sometimes unfolds in abundance, while at other times you experience moments where you need to be on alert for the hardships you face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I think about how much this wore me down, I now realize it also gave me some skills to withstand such situations. For example, approaching uncertain risks with more composure and taking precautions to a certain extent, knowing that negative situations are quite likely, are among the most important of these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout my education, I wasn’t an ambitious student, but I was the kind of person that cheaters wanted to sit near. My education, which progressed naturally until the third year of high school, came completely under my control after a radical decision I made at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a humanities student, after eliminating all the quantitative options regarding career choices, the only thing left was to enter the fine arts faculty and become an art teacher, motivated by my love of drawing. For me, this was the perfect plan to both do what I loved and get my family’s approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, once I got into it, as the options increased, the idea of \u200b\u200bart teaching became increasingly vague. Not only was it uncertain, but it completely vanished in the face of the glamorous digital world of animation. As someone without strong financial backing, pursuing what I loved was a huge risk. But I can’t deny that I had very enjoyable years then and now. It’s just that the price of those years would be somewhat draining for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, uncertainty wasn’t new to me; in fact, it was the only option that offered broad horizons I could challenge. I thought I would have the strongest skills in the market and wouldn’t have to worry about the rest. Because in a world that demands merit, no one would want to miss out on someone like that, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the process didn’t go as I imagined. As a young man, this was embarrassing for me. The people around me never stopped saying things to make me feel worse. Judging by their attitudes, it seemed I needed to be emotionally devastated for my own good, and then, without any support, get back on my feet according to their expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this process, I somehow came close to understanding the psychology behind substance abuse, even though I had previously judged people who used drugs, thinking, “Why would anyone do that to themselves?”, and I never considered using them myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, I witnessed countless times in my environment how despair can reduce a person to a miserable state. My only way to escape this despair was to learn. I knew that knowledge would lead me to the right path. All I had to do was rethink my perspective with accurate information and apply it to my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, not as someone with millions, but as someone who has emerged from this cycle of despair and achieved a manageable level of capital, I will share advice with you in this series. In this way, young people in my country with creative personalities like myself will not be trapped between reality and fantasy, and will be able to channel their creative energy into the areas they are passionate about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
